Soon an aerobridge at Indore airport


Indore: New terminal of Devi Ahilyabai Holkar Airport of Indore will soon join the league of airports in the country with an aerobridge facility. Once in place, passengers will not have to board a bus or walk up to the terminal building to collect their luggage.
After the installation of aero bridge passengers can directly get into flight from terminal and back through aerobridge to collect their luggage. With the facility of aerobridge, airport will inch closer to get international status.
Airport director R N Shinde said, "Civil works on aerobridge is complete and global tender has been called for electronic works .It is expected to complete in next six months."
New terminal of Indore airport constructed at the cost of Rs 135 crores has a slew of facilities like escalators and modern baggage handling system. will also have two aero bridges connecting the terminal directly with aircrafts.
