Margao: Independent Fatorda MLA Vijai Sardesai on Sunday urged legislators from South Goa's coastal belt to make clear their stand on the Mopa issue.
Addressing a gathering at a public meeting of Goemkar, a forum formed by him, Sardesai questioned the silence of the opposition Congress leaders over the issue. Expressing his disapproval over the statements made by some Congress leaders in favour of the Mopa airport, Sardesai, without naming anybody, said that when the opposition speaks in unison with the ruling party, progress of the state becomes the casualty.
