Mangalore: A person from Bhatkal, who tried to smuggle 300 grams of gold jewelry inside an oats tin, has been arrested by the officials from the Directorate of Revenue Intelligence at the Mangalore International airport on Wednesday.
The accused identified as Abdul Ghani was returning from Dubai by Air India Express Flight which landed at Bajpe at 6.20 am. The seizure was valued at Rs 9 lakh.
