Cincinnati USA Partnership Announces India as First International Trip of 2013

Cincinnati: The Cincinnati USA Partnership, the regional economic development initiative directed by the Cincinnati USA Regional Chamber, is planning their first international mission trip of 2013. The partnership will head to India from March 11-15 to build upon business relationships and to attract Indian-owned companies to invest in new facilities in the greater Cincinnati region.
The partnership was previously in India in 2008 to cultivate these business relationships, and has targeted the country again this year with an outbound mission. The purpose of this trip will be to meet with companies that have a strong interest in and the potential to establish new operations in the U.S. within the next 18 to 24 months. Ideally, such investments would lead directly to new job creation and typically would include office facilities, data centers, regional headquarters, engineering and service centers, distribution and logistics facilities, or manufacturing plants.
The Partnership will meet with target prospects in Delhi, Mumbai and at the IESS (India Engineering Sourcing Show). Target clusters for this mission include food and flavoring, specialty chemicals, pharma, packaging, IT (financial services, retail, product development), and manufacturing (industrial machines, aero/aviation, automotive). Additionally, the Partnership is also targeting large Indian business groups.
