Mumbai: Union aviation minister Ajit Singh on Saturday asked chief minister Prithviraj Chavan to exempt Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport (CSIA) and other commercial airports in the state from payment of non-agriculture (NA) tax and other infrastructure charges.
Singh also pushed the plan for the extension of the Juhu airport runway for decongestion of the CSIA air-traffic. The meeting took place at the state's official guesthouse in south Mumbai on Saturday.
