J&K Minister seeks daily Air India flights on Delhi-Leh sector


Mumbai: Nawang Rigzin Jora, Minister for Urban Development and Urban Local Bodies, Government of Jammu & Kashmir has written to Ajit Singh, Minister for Civil Aviation, Government of India to increase frequency of Air India flights to at least one flight per day on Delhi-Leh sector. Furthermore, he has urged private carriers to operate flights on this route after the closure of Kingfisher Airlines, as per The Rising Kashmir report. In a letter written to Singh, Jora also requested for fixing a cap to the maximum amount of airfare on this sector to the length and duration of the flight.
