Ranchi: The new terminal building at BirsaMunda Airport here will be inaugurated by civil aviation minister Ajit Singh on March 24. The decision has been taken by the Airports Authority of India (AAI) after a long wait. The world-class terminal building was waiting for inauguration for long.
Ranchi airport director R R Kumar confirmed the development on Monday evening. Though the airport was used by Team India and England players in the run-up to the maiden ODI in Ranchi in January, it was waiting for a date for the formal inauguration.
