Vasco: The Dabolim airport's runway will be closed for eight hours daily for four days from Saturday for repairs. The work will not affect international flights, but only the domestic flights.
The closure will be effective between 8am to 4pm daily to allow the military engineering services (MES) to resurface and repair the runway on the Indian Navy's behalf.
The arrangement was made after Indian Navy, Airport Authority of India and various scheduled/charter operators held a meeting recently.
The passengers have been requested to contact the respective airlines and confirm their flying timings. "All the flights have been rescheduled," the source said.
