Three held for ticket forgery at Cochin airport

Kochi: A 61-year-old British citizen, his daughter and her friend, hailing from Malaysia, were arrested at Cochin international airport on charges of entering the departure lobby of the airport with forged tickets. Officers of Nedumbassery police station said they have taken John Christopher Marlowe, his daughter Susheela Marie Marlowe and her friend Low Shu Quin into custody.
The trio came to airport to see off Susheela's friend who was flying to Malaysia late on Friday. CI Prabhula Chandran said the student who was flying to Malaysia had the original ticket and John had keyed in the names of the other three in the e-ticket copy.
The group came to the airport with the forged ticket and were returning after ensuring that the student had safely entered the aircraft boarding area. However, they were detained by the security officials at the exit gate and were handed over to the police.
