Guwahati: Air India flight 890 from Imphal to New Delhi, which was hit by a bird mid-air some time before landing in Guwahati, was grounded on Wednesday evening. The plane safely landed here but its onward journey to New Delhi was cancelled as the bird-hit damaged the aircraft's windshield.
