Crossing a hurdle before flight


Ludhiana: The airport authorities acknowledged that high frequency of trains and the railway crossing at the entrance of the airport do pose a problem for travellers. They said a proposal to construct an overbridge is lying with the state PWD.Sahnewal airport manager VP Jain, "We have highlighted this problem on several occasions. Let's hope the project is cleared soon so that the passengers travelling by air don't have to face the problem". PWD authorities said that they have studied the feasibility of having an over-bridge over the railway crossing.
