Mumbai: More than 150 passengers were left stranded at Mumbai airport when a London-bound flight was cancelled at the eleventh hour early on Tuesday. Many passengers had to hurriedly book tickets on another flight. The rest are still in Mumbai and will take the next flight on Wednesday morning.
British Airways flight, BA 138 to London, was supposed to depart at 2.30am. However, after all the passengers had checked in, the airline announced that the flight was cancelled due to a technical glitch. "The passengers were exasperated as they had already finished check-in formalities. They were very upset," said an airport official.
