‘Kuwait airlines intends to cover Srinagar’


Srinagar: Kuwaiti ambassador to India, Sami Muhammad Al-Suleiman, today said that Kuwait airlines intended to cover more destinations in India and Srinagar could be one of them.
 Talking to a delegation of Confederation of Indian Industry, J&K State Council, here today, the ambassador, who is presently in Kashmir, according to CII delegation, said that Kuwait airlines “intends to cover more destinations in India, and Srinagar could be one of them.”
 The delegation, according to Vice Chairman, CII, JK State Council, Asif Burza, discussed possibilities and opportunities of trade and tourism between Kashmir and Kuwait.
 Burza said: “We urged Al-Suleiman to recommend visit of Kuwaiti nationals to Kashmir.”The delegation welcomed the ambassador to Kashmir and proposed that “business delegation comprising travel and tourism traders from Kuwait should visit Kashmir and vice versa to promote tourism.”The CII delegation said such exchange of delegations could help promote Kashmiri products and destination in Kuwait.
