New Delhi: In order to clear traffic bottlenecks at the junction below the Mahipalpur flyover, the L-G office recently approved a decongestion plan for the area.
Sources said decongestion of the area was important for Areocity, a hotel project coming up near Terminal 3 of of the Indira Gandhi International Airport (IGIA).
Under a proposal made by the Delhi International Airport Limited (DIAL), short term plans include shifting bus stops and auto-rickshaw stands on the slip road on NH-8, below the Mahipalpur flyover. PWD will draw up a long-term plan for surface level areas.
