Mumbai: Santa Cruz police requested the Juhu airport authority to ensure that the government employees and private individual allow inside the premises only with the valid airport passes. There is security threat to the Juhu airport and Santa Cruz police managing its security arrangement. The police have deployed heavy policemen for the airport security
The airport officials and Mumbai police were at loggerheads over the security issue recently. The standoff started after a security drill was carried out in which cops found that many personnel from various agencies did not have passes.
