Kochi: Amid a perceptible act of hide-and-seek, the Nedumbassery police are yet to receive the CD containing the video footage of the alleged queue jumping episode by TV anchor Ranjini Haridas at the CIAL on Thursday morning.
However, after an initial hesitation, the police registered a case against Ranjini on the complaint from the wife of Benoy, the passenger from US who entered into an altercation with Ranjini at the airport.
The investigation into the case is making tardy progress with the CISF in charge of airport security not delivering the CD related to the episode, said police sources.
Social networking sites were agog with reports and comments regarding the episode on Friday too, with a majority of them criticising Ranjini over her alleged high-handed attitude.
