Singapore shows interest in Navi Mumbai airport project

Mumbai: Singapore has shown interest in investing in infrastructure projects in the state. In particular, it has shown interest in international airport projects and building new cities.
Deputy prime minister of Singapore Therman Shanghurathnam visited the country's financial capital earlier this week to explore investment opportunities.
His visit came only three days after Chinese Premier Li Keqiang held discussions with CM Prithviraj Chavan regarding investments in the state.
The Chinese premier had exhibited interest in investments in the auto sector and projects involving makeover of Mumbai into a world class makeover.
