SpiceJet likely to post Q4 net loss at Rs 60 cr

Low-cost domestic carrier SpiceJet  will announce its fourth quarter (January-March) results Friday. Analysts on an average expect the company to report a loss of Rs 60 crore during the quarter as against loss of Rs 249.17 crore in a year ago period due to lean season.
The loss will be narrowed significantly on a year-on-year basis due to higher load factors and stronger yields Y-o-Y.
However, revenues are seen going up by 35 percent to Rs 1,501 crore in March quarter from Rs 1,113 crore Y-o-Y, despite industry passenger growth falling 1.5 percent Y-o-Y due to expansion in international segment.
