Guwahati: The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has filed a chargesheet in the Court of Special Judge, CBI Cases Guwahati, against a senior Airport Authority of India (AAI) official for his alleged involvement in a bribery case.
“The CBI has filed chargesheet… against then Senior Manager, Engineering (C), Jorhat airport, Assam…,” a CBI statement said.
The chargesheet has been filed under Sections 7, 13(2) and 13 (i)(d) of Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988. The name of the official against whom chargesheet has been filed was, however, not provided in the statement.
