Cops on airport clean-up mission

Kolkata:  The BidhannagarCommissionerate has decided to continue its crackdown on taxi operators, touts and criminals at Kolkata airport until the mess is cleaned up.
Speaking to TOI a day after taxi operators resorted to a flash strike to protest against alleged strong-arm tactics by police, senior officers from the commissionerate said that while cops would be taken to task if found guilty of extortion or misbehaviour, they would continue the drive at the airport to uproot the nexus between a section of taxi drivers, touts and criminals.
