Bhubaneswar: Large-scale displacement would be avoided during land acquisition for the proposed airport at Jeypore, Koraput collector Sachin R Jadhav told TOI.
"Land for the proposed airport is yet to be identified. We are considering several options for site selection. However, we have decided against massive displacement during land acquisition," said the collector. He said official of airport authority of India (AAI) may visit Jeypore again to study feasibility of the project.
