Shooter held at IGI

New Delhi: A shooter registered with the National Rifle Association of India (NRAI) was today detained at the IGI Airport for allegedly carrying 5,000 blank cartridges and a 9mm blank pistol in his check-in baggage.
Sandeep Kumar, a resident of Dwarka, was passing through the green channel of the airport after arriving from Germany early this morning when he was stopped by the customs officials.
Sources in the know of the development said the shooter tried to wriggle out of the situation by using the NRAI card he was carrying.
