Chennai: Air passengers in the city will soon be able to check live updates of flight departures and arrivals online. The Airports Authority of India is set to revamp Chennai airport's website on the lines of those introduced by private airports.
The website now contains only rudimentary information about the airport. AAI plans to introduce passenger-friendly features, including operations details like flight arrivals and departure information and grievance redressal mechanism in the new design. It will have a feature that will allow passengers, airlines, ground handlers and other agencies to offer feedback and air their grievances.
