AAI gives marching orders to official who died last year

Mumbai: AM Ezhiarasu must be rolling over in his grave. The former assistant general manager (civil engineering) in Airports Authority of India (AAI), who died in April last year, has now been lined up for a transfer.
This wasn’t an anomaly in AAI’s marching orders; turns out, it has made several similar goof-ups in its recent transfer orders of over 300 staff members. The list includes those who opted for voluntary retirement. Adding insult to injury, it even got some current postings and designations wrong.
The discrepancies have been highlighted by the International Airports Authority of India Officers’ Association (IAAIOA), which comprises members of the erstwhile International Airports of India.
