Nagpur: Air India did not have enough vegetarian food for its passengers, but it did manage to serve a 'non-veg' sweet to a passenger on its Mumbai-Nagpur evening flight on Monday. When some people asked for vegetarian food on Air India flight number 629, they were told that the airline had run out of stock. Also, one Harkawal Singh found an insect in his dessert.
"The passengers till the row behind me got vegetarian food, but by the time the food trolley reached me, it was over. I was a little disappointed and even surprised as it is the month of Shravan when even many non-vegetarians turn veg," said a passenger who did not wish to be named.
