Arrested for making threat call

Tiruchi: A special team of the City Police arrested a labourer on the charge of making a threat call on Tuesday claiming that bombs would explode at airport, city police office, and Anna Stadium here on August 14.
A police press release said the police control room received an anonymous call from a mobile number in the morning and the caller threatened that bombs would explode in three places. Following this, personnel of the Bomb Detection and Disposal Squad (BDDS) of the City Police conducted thorough checks at the three places.
A team arrested M.Raja Mohamed (42), a native of Tirunelveli district, on the charge of making the threat call with the intention to cause fear among public.
