Mangalore: In an operation carried out by the customs officials at Bajpe international airport, items which included 173 grams gold, cigarettes and Ghutka were seized from two passengers on Thursday August 29.
The total worth of the seized valuables is said to be Rs 4,23,850.
On receiving authentic information, Abdul Rehman Kunhi who arrived from Dubai was stopped by customs officials. During the operation they found 20 gold chains weighing 173 grams in an extension cord box, which was seized.
