Kozhikode: Alleging laxity on the part of the Air India (AI) authorities in controlling airfares to the Gulf, Bharatiya Janata Party activists will take out a march to the AI office in Kozhikode on September 13.
The BJP said that Air India was trying to exploit poor Non-Resident Keralites who were waiting for their turn to come to Kerala to celebrate Onam.
“The move is to support private flight service operators in the sector. Several Malayali families abroad will struggle to pay the new fares,” BJP State secretary K. Surendran said here on Tuesday.
