Patna: It was panic and commotion all over the Patna airport on Saturday when CISF jawans took position at strategic locations inside the airport and in the tarmac area to thwart hijacking of a plane of Damania Airways. Awestruck passengers watched the CISF movement from the security-hold area as well as from the lounge. They were so much panicked that they ran helter-skelter.
According to informed sources, the CISF personnel also surrounded the aircraft so that it could not move even an inch. It was only half an hour later that the passengers heaved a sigh of relief when they learnt that it was nothing but a mock drill. Patna police also provided necessary help.
