Goa: Come December, the travel experience at Mumbai airport for those in first and business class on at least nine international airlines will change forever.
The airport says that it will be the first in the country to have a premium check-in class unit, said Rajgopal Narayanan, Lead, Joint Control Centre, Mumbai International Airport Ltd (MIAL).
The airport is currently in talks with nine international airlines for a new separate check-in counter for first and business class passengers. In this area, passengers will be met by MIAL meet-and-greet staff who will complete the check-in and baggage formalities for them on portable devices in the exclusive area.
