Few Indian fliers aware about check-in kiosks: Study

An overwhelming 80 per cent of travellers in India are open to using self-service facilities if it helps speed up their passage through airports, according to a survey conducted by Center for Asia Pacific Aviation (CAPA) and SITA.
The survey, however, shows that awareness about check-in kiosks among Indian fliers are much lower at 33 per cent of passengers surveyed.
CAPA is an aviation consultancy firm and SITA is a global provider for IT and telecommunication solutions for the aviation industry. The study says shows that more than half air passengers find check-in, baggage drop off, security and border control procedures among the most stressful while travelling.
