Jaipur: Over half-a-dozen new airports are coming up in Rajasthan but there is a big question mark over the financial viability of these airports. Even the officials of Airport Authority of India (AAI) are not willing to talk on this issue.
Interacting with media on his visit to Jaipur International Airport on Thursday, executive director (cargo) of AAI Dinesh Kumar said that even the people of Kishangarh would want an airport in their city.
Kumar was asked to comment on the financial viability of this airport as it would be close to Jaipur Airport and Udaipur Airport.
Notably, there are several airports coming up in Rajasthan but airlines are not excited over this development as they are reeling under passenger-crunch.
