Mumbai: United Helicharters whose Bell 212 helicopter crashed in Naneghat Hills of Thane district on September 29, has approached the Thane rural police with a complaint that several items, including all personal belongings of the five crew members and crucial chopper parts such as its wheels, have gone missing from the crash site.
The company officials said they approached the cops after extensively scouting the hilly terrain. According to company officials, none of what the crew was carrying when they boarded the ill-fated helicopter at Juhu could be found at the crash site, when they reached there several hours after the incident.
"We are looking for some clue from the photographs taken by the media. By the time we reached, the debris had been disturbed and many things were missing," Capt R S Dangi, chief of flight safety, United Helicharters, stated in a mail to Mumbai Mirror.
