Margao: Goans for Dabolim Only on Friday said the people of Goa will be reluctantly compelled to assume that Mopa airport is a huge real estate scam pushed through by Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar and his government at the cost of Dabolim airport if the government does not release all the relevant information and justifications for the second airport at Mopa within one month.
GFDO further warned that it will be constrained to act accordingly, for which the Chief Minister and his government will be held fully and entirely accountable and responsible.
“It is a shame that even after two months the CM has failed to fulfil his promise of putting up all the facts and specifics regarding Dabolim and the proposed Mopa airports in the public domain within 15 days. This is yet another addition to the long list of this government’s unfulfilled promises that have greatly disappointed the people who voted it to power. It is high time Parrikar realises that he is Chief Minister of a democratic polity and hence cannot function in an arbitrary manner.
