Mumbai: The air intelligence unit of airport customs on Wednesday seized two gold bars, valued at Rs 73 lakh from two flyers coming from Singapore. The bars weigh 2.6 kg. Khambar Abbas and Sayyed Thammil, who are from Karnataka, were arrested.In the last two weeks, Customs has seized smuggled gold worth Rs 2 crore. In the last five seizures, carriers who were caught belonged either to Karnataka or Bangalore, officials said.
