Direct air link from here to Mozambique?

Chennai: India could soon have a direct air link to Mozambique with the signing of a Civil Aviation Agreement soon, according to Mozambique high commissioner Jose Maria Morais.
Speaking during the India-Mozambique business delegation meeting organized by Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry here, Morais said that once the decision is taken on which city the Mozambique national carrier would fly to, the agreement would be inked.
“Once the deal is signed, both our national carriers will then have a air link from Maputo to Indian cities,” he said.
He also wooed auto manufacturers in the state and in the country to set up a two-wheeler manufacturing plant in the country rather than spending on exports.
Morais said that Indian businessmen, who are exporting thousands of two-wheelers and cycles to Mozambique, should now invest in Mozambique to set up a automobile manufacturing plant.
