Global engineering group Cavotec has won several significant orders for its innovative ground support equipment (GSE) for applications in the Middle East, India and Norway, emphasising the extent of the Group’s technical expertise and geographical reach. The total value of these orders is more than EUR 13 million.At Dubai International Airport, Cavotec will supply, install and commission a large number of Pre-Conditioned Air (PCA) Units, pop-up utility pits and 400Hz electrical converters.
The equipment will be used to service aircraft at Dubai Airport’s Concourse 4 expansion that will see the construction of 17 stands, four of which will serve large (MARS Code F) aircraft such as the Airbus A380.
