Dreamliner makes first Goan touchdown

Panaji: The state-of-the-art aircraft Dreamliner B 787 touched down at Dabolim airport for the first time with 260 charter tourists on Sunday morning.
The British carrier Thomson Airways has chosen Goa as one of its long haul destinations during this charter season.
The airline will operate two weekly flights from London Gatwick and Manchester. "The 787 Dreamliner has a carrying capacity of 291 passengers with 47 premium club and 244 economy club," said Dominic Kostka, assistant general manager, Le Passage to India tours and travel pvt ltd, supervisory agent for Thomson Airways. Kostka said the airline will continue its flights till the end of the season in April 2014.
