Odisha Govt organized interactive meeting with major airlines

New Delhi: An Interactive Meet with major domestic and international airlines was held at Hotel Ashok, New Delhi today. The meeting was presided over by Chief Secretary, Odisha, Jugal Kishore Mohapatra. The Interactive Meet was organized with the objective to invite airlines to commence their international operations from & to Bhubaneswar connecting South Asia, South East Asia and Middle East countries.  The meeting was attended by senior officials of Government of India including Shri V.P. Agarwal, Chairman, Airports Authority of India; Arun Mishra, IAS, Director General of Civil Aviation, Govt. of India; Vivek Pattanayak, Former Director, International Civil Aviation Organisation and Shri Sarad Kumar, Director, Biju Patnaik International Airport, Bhubaneswar. Senior executives of many airlines including Fly Dubai, Air Asia, IndiGo, Spice Jet, Go Air and Thai Airways also participated in the meeting. In addition, senior officials of Government of Odisha including Principal Resident Commissioner, Dr. Sunil Kumar Bhargava; Chairman & Managing Director, Industrial Promotion & Investment Corporation of Odisha Limited (IPICOL) and Commissioner-cum-Secretary, Commerce & Transport, Shri G. Mathi Vathanan; Joint Resident Commissioner, Dr. Tribikram Pradhan; Deputy Resident Commissioner, Smt. Gauri Parasher Joshi; and Officer on Special Duty, Smt. Sucharita Sarangi attended the meeting.
