Indore: Political parties are relying heavily upon helicopters for their electioneering campaigns during the forthcoming assembly polls in the state. Both BJP and Congress have already paid advances for hiring of the choppers. While Congress party has hired the services of Bhopal-based OSS Aviation through AICVC and PCC, BJP has roped in a New Delhi-based firm, owned by Gulab Singh, for the same.
In fact, the political parties are leaving no stone unturned, when it comes to making use of choppers, which requires less space for landing and taking off activities and which can easily ferry VIP party workers to any remote area and any rough terrain so as to reach their electorates and woo them to vote for their party candidates who are in the fray.
