New Delhi: Three Indian airports, including Delhi's, have been recognised for significant progress in managing carbon emissions by a global airports body.
Apart from Indira Gandhi International Airport here, Bengaluru International Airport and Rajiv Gandhi International Airport in Hyderabad have been upgraded to Level 3 of 'Optimisation' by Airports Council International,Asia-Pacific.
These airports have reduced emissions through the carbon management certification programme -- Airport Carbon Accreditation (ACA). The announcement was made at the "8th ACI Airport Exchange" held in Doha earlier this week.
