Muscat: Air India Express, the budget airline of Air India, has cancelled its two flights to Kerala sector temporarily, a senior official from the Muscat Air India office said.
The airline has cancelled its two services, Salalah-Thiruvananthapuram (IX541) and Salalah-Cochin-Thiruvananthapuram (IX544), from January 15, 2014.
"The two main reasons behind the temporary cancellation are that there was not much load from Salalah at that time and there was also unavailability of aircraft," the senior official told the Times of Oman.
"There will be no change in the Salalah-Calicut flight services," the official added.
According to the senior official, the cancellation of flights will be effective for only 45 days.
