New grievance redressal system at Bhubaneswar airport

Bhubaneswar: The Airports Authority of India (AAI) has introduced a new grievance redressal system at the Biju Patnaik airport. It has designed a Quick Response Code (QRC), similar to a bar-code, to help people instantly lodge grievances from their cellphones. The system will run on a pilot basis for a few months.
To lodge grievances, passengers and airport staff will have to take a picture of the bar code printed on posters affixed at the arrival, departure, security and passenger lounges of the airport, in their cellphones. The bar-code, when captured in the cellphone will generate a web link. Then, passengers have to enter the link to register their complaints.
