Panaji: The first arrivals at the new integrated terminal building at Dabolim airport is scheduled for December 19, the day Goa celebrates its anniversary of liberation from Portuguese rule, officials said here today.
The building was soft launched on December 3 in the presence of Union Minister for Civil Aviation Ajit Singh.
Various agencies, including Customs, have began shifting to the new terminus building.
"We will have the first arrivals at the airport on December 19," sources from the Union Civil Aviation Ministry said.
The full fledged functioning of the new building would begin in a phased manner after December 19, he said.
