Global tender for airport by December end

Navi Mumbai: The City and Industrial Development Corporation (Cidco) is likely to float the global tender of request for qualification (RFQ) by the end of this month. The tender will be floated to appoint a strategic partner for developing the proposed Rs15,000 crore international airport at Panvel.
According to sources, the RFQ was supposed to have been floated by the first week of December.
RFQ is described as a pre-bid process and involves evaluating the pre-qualification criterion of bidders.
Those who qualify will then have to bid for the second phase - request for proposal (RFP), that includes the technical aspects and those qualifying will be asked to make the commercial bid.
