Bangalore: Harman International (India) Pvt Ltd today announced the successful implementation of a new Harman IDX Information Delivery System, a truly integrated airport communication system, at Bengaluru International Airport.
The deployment is part of a BIAL programme to deliver world-class facilities and services to its passengers and partners at Terminal 1A, which spreads across 1.5 million square feet and has the capacity to handle 20 million passengers in a year, the company said in a statement.
The Harman IDX Information Delivery System, in this case is the airport communication system, which comprises a software-based IDX system core and operator interface, as well as JBL Professional loudspeakers, CROWN amplification, noise sensing microphones and other features.
