Prohibited drug substance seized from air passenger

Indore: Central Industrial Security Force ( CISF) seized 200gm prohibited drug substance on Wednesday morning from a passenger at Devi Ahilyabai Holkar Airport. The seized substance could be either cocaine or meta aquiline, both are prohibited drugs. The passenger, Sarfarj Dange ( 32) a resident of Navi Mumbai who claimed to be a scientist, has been arrested for carrying the banned drug. He also claimed that he is associated with a renowned pharma company. Narcotics control bureau ( NCB) is investigating the case. Highly placed sources told Free Press that the ground staff of Indigo airlines caught the passenger at the check- in point. He was to board Mumbai- bound IGO- 245 flight at 10.15 am.
The initial test by the CISF personnel found the substance as prohibited drug.On the information of duty inspector Rahul Tripathi, Deputy Commandant of CISF H Narayan reached at the spot. The two ETD ( evaporated thermal detect) test E- 1 and E- 2 conducted by CISF also confirmed that seized drug comes under the category of prohibited drug.The CISF handed over the seized drug and Sarfaraj to the officials of the NCB after making panchnama.
