Visakhapatnam: Vijayawada-based regional airline carrier Air Costa plans to start operations from Visakhapatnam, Madurai and Coimbatore.
Sources said that Air Costa is awaiting air operating permits and schedule operating permits from the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) for the routes and timings of flights from these three cities.
Air Costa, which operates Embraer E-170 and E-190 between the six cities of Vijayawada, Hyderabad, Jaipur, Chennai, Ahmedabad and Bangalore, has also followed major airline carriers such as Air India, Indigo and SpiceJet in offering concessions to passengers.
