Pune: An evening flight from Pune to Delhi was cancelled and nine others departing from the city were delayed by a period ranging from 30 minutes to 1.15 hours due to disruption in the air traffic caused by a dense fog over New Delhi's Indira Gandhi International Airport on Monday.
While the majority of the delays were for flights scheduled in the morning slot, two of the delayed flights were in the evening slot.
Go Airways flight G8-176 from Pune to Delhi, which was scheduled for departure at 9.55 pm, had to be cancelled, an airline official at the airport told TOI. "Passengers who had booked their tickets on this flight were accommodated in our other flight, G8-178, which departed from Pune at 9 pm for Delhi," the airline official said.
