Tiruchi: Officials of Customs Air Intelligence Unit seized gold biscuits totally weighing 487 grams valued at Rs. 14.50 lakh from three international passengers at Tiruchi airport on Friday night.
In the first instance, one gold biscuit weighing about 100 grams found concealed in an emergency lamp was recovered from Lakshmanan from Melur, who arrived here from Singapore by a Tiger Airways flight.
